Always consider future purchases and try to buy a television stand which offers additional space if you think you may add more audio or video equipment to your TV system in the future.
Use the wall level to make sure the mounting bracket will be level and parallel to the floor so that the television does not hang at an angle.
If you have many AV components and think that most corner TV stands do not offer adequate storage space, you could always consider a standard TV stand which has tapered corners. Much like the ones highlighted on this page.
If you decide to purchase a corner TV stand with a mount, you should bear in mind the stand will not fit as deep into the corner as a model without a mount. This is because brackets usually attach to the rear of the stand and you will be restricted by the width of the TV.
Be careful with the enclosed corner TV cabinet and make sure AV components will receive adequate ventilation. A removable back panel will be a major advantage in this situation – and the addition of a proper ventilation system is even more advantageous.
